Elisabeth Sullivan

Elisabeth Sullivan has been the general counsel at Efficio since 2022, bringing ten years of experience as an in-house lawyer and a further eight years in private practice.

Main areas of practice

Elisabeth has worked in a broad variety of sectors, including oil & gas, chemicals and retail.  

Career

Before joining Efficio, Elisabeth was the general counsel of Waterstones Booksellers, backed by Elliott Advisors. Before that, she was group legal manager at the head office of INEOS, a privately owned chemicals and oil & gas company.

Other Expertise 

Elisabeth trained as a lawyer with Herbert Smith Freehills and worked there for eight years in its London and Tokyo offices.  She studied politics, philosophy and economics at Oxford University before converting to law.
