Efficio’s Melaye Ras-Work named a “Pro to Know” in Supply & Demand Chain Executive awards

Efficio is proud to announce that Vice President Melaye Ras-Work has been named among Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s (SDCE) Pros to Know 2022, which recognizes outstanding executives whose accomplishments offer a roadmap for other leaders looking to leverage supply chain for competitive advantage.
Since 2000, Melaye Ras-Work and fellow cofounders have built Efficio into the world’s largest specialist procurement and supply chain consultancy, spanning four continents and growing at a rate of 30% year-on-year. Melaye oversees projects across multiple geographies to deliver breakthrough transformations of clients’ procurement and supply chain operations. She leads Efficio’s work in global healthcare, as well as the company’s growth in French-speaking countries. Melaye also champions Efficio’s Recruitment, HR, and People Development functions, ensuring the firm continues to attract the industry’s brightest talent, nurtures career paths, and fosters employee wellbeing.
As executive sponsor of Efficio’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) program, Melaye has been instrumental in improving the proportion of women at Efficio at all levels – particularly in leadership roles – through setting aggressive targets to ensure a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workspace, presenting equal opportunities, and tackling discrimination. She has been foundational in sculpting Efficio’s distinct and vibrant culture based on respect and collaboration.
Melaye Ras-Work’s innovative and multi-dimensional leadership has been instrumental in the development and progression of Efficio around the world. She is insightful, principled, and pragmatic, and she continuously empowers her colleagues to grow, develop, and do the right thing. It is very gratifying when our people are recognized in this way – a highly deserved acknowledgment for Melaye.
When I look back at past Pros to Know winners, I see a lot of individuals who accomplished a lot of great achievements. But this year’s winners are reinventing what it means to be a supply chain professional. This year’s winners are intuitive, adaptive, and so super smart and continue to push the envelope when it comes to everything supply chain-related. We received over 360 nominations this year, the highest number of nominations ever for this award. It’s proof that today’s supply chain professionals are not only doing great things for the supply chain, but are also being supported by their teams, peers and partners.
